Anyone can apply to be a member of this club, only limited by your own abilities.
The 2025 annual membership fees are in the following table. Tata Steel employees or members of the Tata Steel social club pay the fee from "Tata Fee" column otherwise the fee is from the "Annual Fee" column.
Family membership includes two adults and children under 18 from the same household.
Grandparent Family membership includes two grandparents and up to four grandchildren under 18.

For new members there is a sliding scale reducing from 100% January to end of June, 75% in July, 50% August to September, 30% October and November and 20% in December.
New members also pay a £11 joining fee.
Existing members pay a full year's membership regardless of what point of the year they renew their membership.
We offer storage space for two craft as well as various help and advice as part of your membership fees, with additional spaces available at an extra charge of £34 each depending on availability.
Training is available and is carried out to RYA standards (See the Training Page for information on training)

All club members aged 16 and over must support the club by performing at least three Officer of the Day (OOD) duties per year. If you are a returning member then please follow the link below and submit your three duties for the forthcoming year. If you are a new member then please submit your application request and await confirmation of approval before selecting your dates.
If you cannot attend your chosen duty date then please arrange to swap with another member and then notify Vice Commodore so the Rota can be updated - email : vice-commodore@tatasteelsailing.org.uk
Once your duty dates have been submitted for the year then please continue with your membership application.
